We have missed seeing you!  Curbside service has been difficult and we appreciate your patience and understanding over the past year. 


Now that COVID-19 vaccinations are available for all adults and some children, and the community spread has decreased, we feel that we are now able to begin in-person visits with some safety restrictions.

Beginning Monday, July 19th, we will begin allowing clients into the hospital with their pets for appointments with their veterinarian. Clients may also continue to choose curbside service for their pet’s appointments.  Clients/pets here for technician appointments and medication or food pick up will be served curbside.

Clients who have elected to come inside the hospital for their pet’s visits with their veterinarian will be required to follow these safety protocols with no exceptions:

  • One adult client per appointment and up to two pets.  Please, no children at this time.
  • Mask covering nose and mouth will be REQUIRED at all times.
  • Social distancing in the exam room will be REQUIRED.
  • Lobby access will be limited to reduce congestion.

For the continued safety of our staff, there will be no exceptions to the mask requirement listed above.  For clients that are unable or unwilling to wear a mask covering their nose and mouth, then your pet’s visit will remain curbside.

Prior to your pets appointment, please complete/submit the Patient Health History Form – this form provides us with your pet’s important health details and will help to decrease your wait time during your pet’s appointment. 

Checking In/Checking Out – When you arrive, please call our office at 520-298-4123 and stay in your car until a staff member comes to escort you to the designated exam room. At the time of check out, you will stay in the exam room and your check-out process will be handled by one of the staff members in the exam room. Once you have been checked out and payment is completed, a staff member will escort you from the exam room to the lobby front door.

We recommend that you wash/sanitize your hands prior to entering the building, and — most importantly — please stay at home if you are feeling sick.

Picking up Medication/Food – When picking up medications or food, please call the office at 520-298-4123 when you arrive and we will bring your products to you. Invoicing and payment will be handled by one of our staff members over the telephone and/or at your vehicle.

Canceling your Pets’ Appointment – Due to the increased demand, if you are unable to keep your pet’s scheduled appointment, we ask that you please call us within 24 hours to cancel this appointment as this allows our staff to schedule an appointment for another sick pet at that time.  We request 48 hours’ notice to cancel scheduled surgeries. 

Briarcrest Staff Safety Precautions – all staff will be temperature checked at the beginning of their shift; all staff will be required to wear a face mask covering both their nose and mouth at all times, and all staff will sanitize and disinfect shared service areas between appointments.
